Plenty of space which is great for a family of five. Given the size of the engine the fuel consumption is very good thanks to the hybrid nature of the car. Two things that really irritate; 1 - No heated front wind screen ! Why not in a car that's supposed to be top of the range ? The blowers take an age to clear the screen...... heated screen takes 30 seconds..... I think it's aToyota thing, but they need to consider it. 2 - It's not very comfortable for me or passengers.I drove a Ford Kuga before this and it was much more comfortable. Over a year later and I'm still tweaking with the drivers seat to see if I can sit in it without getting back ache. The middle consol where the gearstick sits, put some cushioning in it where the driver's legs are are, my knee has to rest on it and it's solid plastic which get's pretty sore on a long journey.

The satnav is awful. Gracenote is not user friendly, nor intuitive. Never heard of it before - is it a Japanese product. Please can we have TomTom Live with Traffic? Also difficult to find settings easily.

This is literally like driving an armchair. Extremely comfortable with some serious power. Highly recommended.

Needed a car with better fuel economy but still a decent size and performance. The Rav4 ticks all the boxes for me

If I could change it today, I would. Internal touch screen controls are almost dangerous as to operate you have to take your eyes off the road to hit the right part of the screen. Toyota has a good brand name but I would not recommend this vehicle
