There is one major problem with the car. I use this vehicle for travelling short distances for the majority of the time. Twice over the last year I have had a warning that the filter is clogged up with soot. The only way to remove this fault is to take it on the motorway and drive it faster for a longer period of time. Unfortunately I don't have time to do this and it causes a big inconvenience. Surely this is a major fault with this car. To fix a fault that has been caused by driving short distances you are required to drive faster and for longer durations causing more emissions, more expense on fuel, and more risk of an accident, and more personal time! This is concerning.

its soooo boring. I hate the DSG gearbox and the stop / start makes it rubbish in town but turning it off ruins the already very poor economy figures. The boot is poorly shaped also. The VW golf GTi surely is the average example.... get something smaller and quicker or bigger and lazier coz this aint it chief.
