Hate the haptic buttons. The gear box in sport has a few second delay like it doesnt know which gear to go in. Start stop kicks in before you’ve even stopped so if you slow down at a junction then go to pull off it cuts out and leaves you in the middle of a road with oncoming traffic. The interior lights dont always work. The lane assist is dangerous, and the crash assist feature is terrible, it slams the breaks on and nearly gives you whiplash when theres nothing even close to you. Touch screen and menus are a nightmare, you have to press about 37 buttons just to turn the heating on. Vw need to bring back real buttons and scrap all this touch screen nonsense. Seats are uncomfortable too, neck kills because of the shape of the seat and theres no headrest.

The performance of the Golf is great. The in-car tech, is rubbish, VW has tried to make the call simpler but they have made it worse. The worst VW Ive ever driven. To make matters worse, the tech has failed, making the car a chore to drive. The problem was fixed but is starting to happen again, so it's probably the most unreliable VW ive had.
