Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) Authorised and Regulated

Nationwide Vehicle Contracts is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Our FCA Firm Reference Number is 668741.

The Financial Conduct Authority is the conduct regulator for almost 60,000 financial services firms in the UK. The FCA work directly with businesses to protect consumers in a wide range of ways, specifically by ensuring firms put their customers at the heart of their business by offering appropriate products and services.

As an FCA regulated firm, we must follow the rules set in its handbook. The FCA handbook sets out business standards we must abide by and how we must deal with any complaints we receive.

FSQS Registered 

As part of our ongoing commitment to our customers and suppliers, Nationwide Vehicle Contracts is FSQS qualified. 

The FSQS (Financial Services Qualification System) is the financial industry standard for compliance management and is recognised by financial institutions such as banks, building societies, insurance companies and investment services. 

FSQS accreditation demonstrates compliance across several areas, including IT security, operational risks, GDPR, financial, anti-bribery/fraud, insurance, health and safety, and environmental sustainability.

Cyber Essentials Certified

Nationwide Vehicle Contracts is Cyber Essentials Certified. 

Created by the National Cyber Security Centre (part of GCHQ), Cyber Essentials helps organisations protect themselves and their clients' data against common cyber security threats. It is a go-to standard that allows organisations to demonstrate effective cyber security to customers and suppliers and reassure them they are safe to do business with. 

To meet the Cyber Essentials standard, Nationwide Vehicle Contracts had to demonstrate that our IT infrastructure met the strict requirements across five technical control areas, including Firewalls and Internet Gateways, Secure Configuration, Access Control, Malware Protection and Patch Management.

Nationwide Vehicle Contracts is a Leasing Broker Member of the BVRLA.

The British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (BVRLA) is the trade body for the vehicle rental and leasing sector. The BVRLA promotes ethical trading, clear pricing, transparent terms and conditions, high-quality vehicles, and customer service standards.

As a Leasing Broker member, we are bound by the BVRLA's mandatory code of conduct, which stipulates how we must conduct our business with you, the customer, in terms of contracts, quotes and payment terms, duty of care, end-of-contract processes and more.
