A crew van is a light commercial vehicle designed to carry both crew and cargo. It offers seating for up to six people and usually has a payload in excess of one tonne.
With average load space dimensions of 1.5 metres (length), 1.4 metres (width) and 1.2 metres (height), crew vans are incredibly versatile, with the rear seats removable on many crew vans, meaning that the van loadspace can also be fully utilised for goods. They are popular with businesses that need to transport workers to and from sites, and owner-operators who need their van to double up as a family car at the weekend.
