These principles have remained steadfast across four distinct generations. Specifically, the Tipper variant is crafted to facilitate the effortless transportation and unloading of particularly heavy goods, rendering it well-suited for various commercial applications.

Design, Practicality and Boot Space

The new Transit Tipper cuts a stylish figure with a modern, sculpted design. The bold front grille, swept-back headlights, and muscular shoulders exude both power and refinement. It's not just about aesthetics, though. The aerodynamic curves also help reduce drag and improve fuel efficiency, a bonus for any business.

The design of the tipper van incorporates an underfloor tipping system, enabling the tilting of the vehicle body for unloading heavy goods at the rear. This feature enhances the efficiency of the unloading process, requiring less manpower and time. As a result, tipper vans are a popular preference for professionals such as landscapers, groundworkers, bricklayers, refuse collectors, and others who need to safely and quickly offload bulky equipment or materials.

The Transit Tipper doesn't disappoint. Choose from 3.5-tonne, 4.7-tonne, and 5-tonne GVW (Gross Vehicle Weight) options, translating to payloads ranging from 1110kg to a whopping 2958kg. That's enough to handle everything from landscaping materials and building supplies to agricultural produce and even small machinery.

Interior and Trims

The Transit Tipper demonstrates excellent handling, thanks to its light and responsive steering. Navigating through tight city streets or manoeuvring in narrow building sites becomes effortless. The elevated driving position ensures outstanding visibility, instilling confidence behind the wheel.

In summary, the new Ford Transit Tipper upholds the legendary toughness and work ethic of its predecessors while introducing refinement, technology, and driving pleasure. The powerful engines, comfortable cab, and user-friendly tipping mechanism contribute to an enjoyable driving experience, and its diverse configurations cater to a wide range of needs. If you seek a dependable, versatile, and enjoyable workhorse, the Transit Tipper stands out as an excellent leasing option.

Power and Performance

Beneath the hood of the Transit Tipper, users will find a 2.0-litre EcoBlue engine, boasting 13% greater efficiency compared to its predecessor, the 2.2-litre engine. This is particularly advantageous for businesses aiming to prioritize sustainability, especially those covering substantial distances while moving from one job to another. Additionally, the top-end model of the Transit achieves an impressive power output of 185hp, allowing for agile manoeuvres in congested urban spaces even when carrying heavy loads.

For tradespeople dealing with frequent heavy loading, the single cab Transit Tipper offers a substantial payload rating of 1,023kg. Recent models utilize a unibody chassis instead of a separate frame, providing a stronger and more secure load space for transporting heavy goods. The space includes sections for attaching straps, enhancing security during transportation, which is ideal for moving fragile items from point A to B.

Sally Ford Transit Tipper 350 L2 DIESEL RWD 2.0 TDCi 130ps 'One Stop' Tipper (1 Way) *Inc Twin Rear Wheels*

It has had to go into ford 5/6 times for faulty injectors. They have all been replaced under warranty, but we have been without a van while being repaired (one stint in the repair shop was almost two weeks) which I’m sure as you can imagine is a pain and headache as we are running a gardening business where the vehicle is imperative to us being able to carry out the job at all. We have three other vans leased from yourselves which have been no problem at all so I’m not sure if this vehicle is just a ‘Friday vehicle’ or it is a design fault from ford. Overall it has been useful when it runs as it should, but it is a massive pain when it doesn’t. We have observed all advice on the dash menu and from Ford and take the vehicle on frequent long runs but still the same problem arises. When I spoke with you guys you said it was fords problem and when we take it to ford they say it’s because it’s not being driven on enough long runs. I have tried to get a detailed description of what ‘a long run’ is and was told to drive in the motorway and observe the dash warnings. Have done this and still the problem persists. All in all not that satisfied cause it’s something I was hoping I wouldn’t have to deal with on leading a new vehicle. I will definitely lease a tipper again in the future, but will have to think carefully what model and from what company.
