The Peugeot e-Partner Crew is a small electric van perfect for small families or businesses needing passenger space and cargo capacity. It has five seats and a load volume of up to 1.8m3.
Rivals to the e-Partner Crew include the Nissan Townstar Electric Crew, Fiat e-Doblo Crew, Vauxhall Combo-e Crew, and Renault Kangoo E-Tech Crew.
Our Peugeot e-Partner Crew review covers:
The e-Partner Crew is what you'd expect from a Peugeot van; it's pretty slick, looks nice on the eye, and is also practical. Its good-looking front end embodies Peuegot's up-to-date look, and the square roofline and sliding rear doors combine well.
Space inside the e-Partner Crew is good. Two adults have plenty of space in the front, and both the passenger and driver get their own seat, something that can't be said of a few of its rivals that have the front passenger bench. In the rear, the three adults can fit on the bench, and there's decent legroom; however, shoulders will be rubbing on a longer journey.
Thanks to the extra row of seats in the rear, the e-Partner Crew's load volume is 1.8m3, compared to the standard version's 4m3. The maximum payload is 642kg, and the towing weight is 750kg.
The e-Partner Crew has a superb interior. Like all Stellantis vans, the dashboard is excellently built and simple to navigate, which is essential for a van that's constantly on the go. It also uses Peugeot's superb i-Cockpit interior, which comes with a small steering wheel and touchscreen infotainment system.
On the dash, you get an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system that comes standard with smartphone mirroring, Bluetooth, and two USB ports. The graphics are clear and easy to read, and the whole system can be controlled through the multi-function steering wheel.
The e-Partner Crew is available in just one trim. It comes with 16-inch wheels, two sliding doors, overhead storage, two positions bulkhead for the rear seats, a smartphone station entry, six tie-down points in the rear, rear parking sensors, and cruise control and limited speed control.
The e-Partner Crew has a 50kWh battery paired with a 136hp electric motor. It can go from 0 to 62mph in just under 12 seconds and maxes out at 82mph.
Peugeot claims a range of 213 miles, but I'd suspect something around the 170-mile mark with passengers and cargo in the rear.
For charging, a 7.4kW wall box will fully charge the battery in seven and a half hours. Rapid DC charging is available up to 100kW, which takes the battery from 0 to 80% in half an hour.
The e-Partner Crew is a small van at heart, so it comes as no surprise it's great to drive around town. The electric powertrain is fantastic at low speeds, and the small steering wheel makes navigating tight city streets relatively easy.
Find yourself on the motorway and the e-Partner Crew feels a bit out of place. Yes, it can reach cruising speed, but it can't really go any quicker. It feels like you're making the motor work really hard, and alongside this, your electric range will drastically decrease.
