VW as a product is of the quality I expect, as the van is based on the car version I find it not as durable and hard wearing as other vans I have owned/ leased previously. I think the the fact VW charge for optional extras such as adaptive cruise which I would consider as a safety feature which the vehicle already has fitted is taken advantage of the customer. The battery rang is reduced by up to 40% in winter months, and the three seats upfront s a squeeze for 3 adults and wouldn’t recommend for long journeys. A long wheel base version would be better so will probably go back to diesel next time maybe transit or Vivaro.

VW IDBUZZ: Fast, quiet comfortable but... technology is poor and unreliable, screen control for heating etc is distracting & dangerous, it is rather dull to drive.

Lacks storage space and cubby holes. Insurance is a joke. Visibility is poor. No spare wheel, Jack or spanner supplied. Pre warm up is fantastic. Great drive.
