The Volkswagen Badge on the front of a car

Volkswagen cars have always been a popular choice for anyone looking to lease a car from Nationwide Vehicle Contracts; and that is likely to continue into 2016 with a series of upgrades to trims on some of their core models - the Volkswagen Polo, the Volkswagen Golf and the Volkswagen Passat - all of which are available to order now for delivery in early 2016.

The Polo Match

The Volkswagen Polo MatchAvailable as a Polo 3-Door and a Polo 5-Door, the Polo Match replaces what was previously the SE Trim. Not only is the new model available in a wide range of both engine and transmission options, but it is also generously equipped, adding more than £900-worth of extra equipment to Volkswagen’s enduringly popular supermini.

These extras, now available as standard, include cruise control, front and rear parking sensors, front fog lights with static cornering function, tinted rear windows and smart new 15" Stratford alloy wheels.

All this makes leasing the new Polo Match a very inviting prospect for 2016.

The Volkswagen Golf

The Volkswagen Golf GT EditionNow in its 7th generation, the Volkswagen Golf is truly an iconic model. And the momentum it has built up over those 7 generations is sure to continue with the imminent showroom debuts of the Golf GT Edition and Golf R-Line Edition.

Replacing the GT trim level, the upcoming Golf GT Edition has an additional £1,795 worth of equipment that includes 18" Durban alloy wheels and a panoramic sunroof, while the exciting new Golf R-Line Edition replaces the R-Line trim, also with alloy wheels (18" Serron) and the panoramic sunroof amongst nearly £1,730-worth of extra equipment.

The Volkswagen Passat

The Volkswagen Passat SE BusinessBoth the Volkswagen Passat and Volkswagen Passat Estate have been recipients of not only industry plaudits but many awards too, and the appeal of the model is likely to be boosted by the arrival of a revised SE Business trim level to add even more style, and value what is acknowledged as the class leader.

The SE Business designation replaces the departing SE specification, and brings with it attractive, high-spec features as standard such as Discover Navigation, front fog lights, electric folding door mirrors and tinted rear windows on top of all that it had before – totalling an extra £555 worth of value.
